4. Cookies

We use cookies on our site. These are small files that are automatically created on your browser and are stored on your end device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you visit our site. Cookies do not cause any damage to your end device, and do not contain viruses, Trojans, or any other malware.

The cookie stores information that is related to the specific end device being used. However, this does not mean that we gain direct knowledge of your identity.

On the one hand, the use of cookies serves to make the use of our offer more pleasant. We use so-called session cookies to identify that you have already visited individual pages of our website. These are automatically deleted when you leave our site.

In addition, we use temporary cookies to optimise user-friendliness. These are stored on your end device for a certain fixed time. If you visit our site again to use our services, your previous visit is automatically recognised, and the inputs and settings from that visit do not have to be entered again.

On the other hand, we use cookies to statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing our offers for you (see section 5). These cookies enable us to automatically recognise that you have already visited our website when you visit it again. These cookies are automatically deleted after a defined period of time.

The data processed by cookies is necessary for the aforementioned purposes to safeguard our legitimate interests and those of third parties, in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Most browsers accept cookies automatically. However, you can configure your browser in such a way that no cookies are stored on your computer, or that a notification always appears before a new cookie is created. However, deactivating cookies entirely may mean that you cannot use all the functions of our website.

5. Analysis Tools

a) Tracking tools

The tracking measures listed below, and employed by us, are carried out on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. By applying these tracking measures, we want to ensure that our website is designed to meet your needs and continuously optimised. Further to this, we use tracking measures to statistically record the use of our website and evaluate it in order to optimise our offers. These interests are to be regarded as legitimate within the meaning of the aforementioned provision.

The respective data processing purposes and data categories can be found in the corresponding tracking tools.

b) Google Analytics

For the purpose of demand-oriented design and continuous optimisation of our pages, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (https://www.google.com/intl/en/about/) (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; hereinafter "Google"). In this context, pseudonymised usage profiles are created and cookies (see section 4) are used. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. This information comprises:

Browser type/version,

Operating system used,

Referrer URL (the previously visited page),

Host name of the accessing computer (IP address),

Time of the server request.

The information is used to evaluate the use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, to provide further services related to website use and internet use for the purposes of market research, and to design these web pages in line with requirements. This information may also be transferred to third parties if required by law, or if third parties need to process this data on our behalf. In no event will your IP address be merged with other Google data. The IP addresses are anonymised ensuring assignment is not possible (IP masking).

You can prevent the installation of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser software. However, please note that by doing this, you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website.

Furthermore, by downloading and installing the browser add-on available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en, you can prevent Google from collecting data generated by the cookie and data related to your use of the website (including your IP address) as well as the processing of this data.

As an alternative to the browser add-on, especially for browsers on mobile devices, you can prevent data collection by Google Analytics by clicking on this link. An opt-out cookie will be set, which prevents the future collection of your data when you visit this website. The opt-out cookie applies only to this browser and only to our website and is stored on your device. If you delete the cookies in this browser, you must set the opt-out cookie again.

For more information on data protection in connection with Google Analytics, please visit the Google Analytics Help page (https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=en).

c) Google Adwords Conversion Tracking

To statistically analyse the use of our website and optimise it for you, we also use Google Conversion Tracking. Google Adwords sets a cookie (see section 4) on your computer if you have accessed our website through a Google advertisement.

These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of the Adwords customer's website and the cookie has not expired, Google and the customer can see that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to that page.

Each Adwords customer receives a different cookie, so cookies cannot be tracked via Adwords customers' websites. The information obtained through the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for Adwords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. The Adwords customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive information which can be used to personally identify users.

If you do not wish to participate in the tracking process, you can refuse the setting of a cookie required for this purpose - for example, by deactivating the automatic setting of cookies in your browser settings. You can also deactivate cookies for conversion tracking by adjusting your browser settings to block cookies from the domain "www.googleadservices.com". Google's privacy policy on conversion tracking can be found here (https://services.google.com/sitestats/en.html).

pursuant to Art. 15 of the GDPR, to request information about your personal data processed by us. In particular, you can request information about the purposes of the processing, the categories of personal data concerned, the recipients or categories of recipients to whom the personal data have been or will be disclosed, the envisaged period for which the personal data will be stored, the existence of the right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or objection, the right to lodge a complaint, the source of your data if it was not collected by us, and the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling, and meaningful information about the details thereof;

pursuant to Art. 16 of the GDPR, to obtain without undue delay the rectification of inaccurate data, or the completion of personal data stored by us:

pursuant to Art. 17 of the GDPR, to request the erasure of your personal data stored by us, unless the processing is necessary for exercising the right of freedom of expression and information, for compliance with a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest, or for the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims:

pursuant to Art. 18 of the GDPR, to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data insofar as: the accuracy of the data is contested by you, the processing is unlawful but you object to its erasure, we no longer need the data but you require it to assert, exercise or defend legal claims, or you have objected to the processing pursuant to Art. 21 of the GDPR;

pursuant to Art. 20 of the GDPR, to receive your personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format or to request that it be transmitted to another controller:

pursuant to Art. 77 of the GDPR, to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. As a rule, you can contact the supervisory authority of your usual place of residence or workplace or our company headquarters.

7. Right to Object

Insofar as your personal data is processed based on legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data in accordance with Art. 21 of the GDPR, provided that there are grounds relating to your particular situation, or the objection is directed against direct marketing. In the latter case, you have a general right to object, which we will implement without the need for any specific situation to be stated.

If you wish to exercise your right to revoke consent or object, simply send an email to info@hauser-maschinen.de.

8. Data Security

When visiting the website, we use the widespread SSL (Secure Socket Layer) method in conjunction with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser. As a rule, this is a 256-bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we use 128-bit v3 technology instead. You can see whether an individual page of our website is transmitted in encrypted form by the closed depiction of the key or lock symbol in the lower status bar of your browser.

We also use appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction, or against unauthorized access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.
